Dangal is one of those intense sports dramas which keeps you
on the edge for most of the time during the film. I think for general public
this movie will have more impact regarding the intensity of wrestling than the
medals we won because sadly not many follow wrestling despite the multiple
medals in last three Olympics. This one is probably the best movie of this year
and a must watch.
But don't go to theater thinking this is Aamir Khan's movie.
More than Aamir Khan this movie belongs to Zaira Wasim, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima
Sana Shaikh and Suhani Bhatnagar. Way to go girls! I will look forward to more
such portrayal from you (As a matter of
fact, I am already looking forward to 'Secret Superstar' starring Zaira, the
trailer was shown before Dangal in the theater).
P.S. Once this movie becomes a hit which I think it will be,
I can foresee a group of Facebook naysayers will come out to bash the movie
because it shows how a father forced (at times reaching almost a stage of
torture) his daughters to realize his dreams, which is actually a complete
opposite storyline of another Aamir Khan movie 'Tare Zamin Par'.
But I guess this is
life with all its good, bad and ugly faces and we should just move on. Ohh by
the way, watch this movie while you are moving on!
